Bihar DCECE Mock counselling postponed due to technical issues
The Bihar Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced an essential update on the Diploma-Certificate Competitive Examination (DCECE) 2024. Due to some technical issues, the Mock-up counselling admission could not begin on the scheduled date, August 26,2024 into Government and Private Polytechnic Engineering Colleges. It has now been postponed.
The new dates for the counselling will be releases soon. In addition, the BCECEB has also revised the first-round provisional allotment results for DCECE(PE)-2024. The initial result, which was declared on August 5,2024 had some errors, now the errors have been corrected.
Following were the changes made in the Revised allotments for round 1
There also have been addition of candidates. Over 7 candidates had not been assigned seats in the previous result but now they are. The candidates are required to follow the same procedure of document verification by August 28 ,2024.
Cancelled Allotments
However there also have cancellations, The allotments for 7 candidates, who were part of the initial results. These candidates are supposed to wait for the results of the 2nd Round Seat Allotment.
It is mandatory for the candidates who have been allotted seats in the revised result , to login in to the online counselling portal and download their updated allotment and get the documents verified at earliest by August 28.
However, failure to meet this deadline will result in the cancellation of their allotted seats and ineligibility for the 2nd Round Counselling. For further details, candidates are advised to visit the BCECEB's official website and adhere to the updated instructions and deadlines.
