When do the IITs' classes begin?
JoSAA Counselling 2024: IIT Bombay and IIT Madras are scheduled to begin classes for the 2024 session on July 29 and August 1, respectively, while IIT Delhi will begin classes on July 22.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), which has three rounds remaining, has officially released the dates that the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will begin classes for the 2024 academic year. The dates that students must report to the institutions, register for the first semester of classes, and attend orientation have all been made public on the josaa.nic.in the website in addition to the start of classes.
IIT Bombay and IIT Madras are scheduled to begin classes for the 2024 academic year on July 29 and August 1, respectively, while IIT Delhi will begin sessions on July 22.
These are the dates when students are expected to report to the IITs, as well as the dates that classes begin and orientation takes place.

On June 20 and June 27, respectively, the JoSAA seat allocation round 1 and round 2 lists were previously released. The dates of the release of the third, fourth, and fifth seat allotment lists are July 4, July 10, and July 17, respectively.
