West Bengal NEET UG counselling registration begins

The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBCC) has initiated with the registration process of UG NEET 2024 from August 21, 2024. 

The process is for all eligible students who wish to secure admission in MBBS and BDS in medical government, private, and dental institutions. The students can register themselves on the official website. https://wbmcc.nic.in/

It is mandatory for the candidate or candidate’s parent to have West Bengal Domicile in order to participate in the counselling process.

The last date to register for the counselling process is August 23, 2024. Following is the schedule for the counselling process

Registration : August 21- August 23,2024

Payment : August 21-August 23,2024

Preference List : August 27- August 29 2024

Seat Allotment : September 2, 2024

Allotment letter: September 3- September 5,2024

Candidates will begin the process by registering themselves on the official website. After that, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee . They are required to submit a preference list of medical colleges they wish to enroll in and wait for the results.

The seat allotment will be based on the candidate's score and preference list submitted. Once the candidate is allotted a seat, they must download the seat allotment , it will be useful for future purpose. Candidates are requires to report to the allotted college within a stipulated time . 

Candidates belonging to a reserved category must submit a caste certificate during the registration process as prescribed.  In addition, they are also expected to submit the caste certificate issued on or after April 1 signed by the respective authority.
