The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has been instructed by the state chief minister to draft the results for the UPPBPB Constable examination and make them public before the end of this month.
Yogi Adityanath's personal website and office have posted an official tweet on this. "Get ready to release the Police Constable Recruitment Exam results by the end of this month," the tweet stated. The hiring procedure for open positions ought to be expedited, and it is imperative that the integrity of the tests be maintained at all costs, Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji Maharaj stated.
There were two stages to the UPPBPB Constable written exam: the first took place on August 23, 24, and 25, 2024, and the second took place on August 30 and 31, 2024. The examination was administered in two shifts on all exam days: the first shift ran from 10 am to 12 pm, and the second shift ran from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The test took place at 1,174 exam centres located in 67 districts across the state. In order to prevent fraud, the board set up biometric verification, which involves candidate's fingerprints and faces being recognized. Approximately 48 lakh applicants from throughout the state took the exam this time. Out of the total candidates, 28.91 lakh showed up for the first phase and 19.26 lakh for the second. A board official reported that 31.38 percent of applicants did not take the test in the initial section of the exam.
