UP NEET UG 2024: Registration 1 ends what's next

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow had begun the registration process of UG NEET 2024 from August 20, 2024. The Students can fill their choices by August 29,2024.

As per the official notice , the eligibility for choice filling will be granted only to the candidates who have completed their online verification of their original documents and submitted the required security deposit .

Students can secure admissions in MBBS and BDS in medical government, private, and dental institutions. There are a total of 2,265 seats available under the UP NEET UG for government colleges across the state. The students can check updates on the official website .https://upneet.gov.in/# 

Following is the schedule for the counselling process

Registration: August 20- August 24,2024

Payment and Security Charge: August 24,2024

Release of Merit List August 24,2024

Preference List: August 24 -August 29,2024

Seat Allotment announcement: August 30,2024

Allotment letter and admission: August 31-September 5,2024

Candidates began the process by registering themselves on the official website. After that, candidates were required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 1000. Then a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for a government seat and a private medical college is Rs 2 lakh, and in the case of a private dental college, it is Rs 1 Lakh. Now the candidates get to fill their preferences sheet and wait for the results.

UP NEET UG for the session 2024-2025 had begun on August 20, 2024. Eligible candidates wanting to secure admission to MBBS and BDS in Uttar Pradesh can fill choice preference on the official website. The last date to fill is August 29,2024. The seat allotment results are expected to be declared on August 30. The candidates will be able to download the allotment letters and admissions will commence from August 31. The admission process will remain open until September 5,2024.
