The National Eligibility Test (NET) 2024 June session re-exam results are anticipated to be released shortly by the University Grant Commission (UGC). Once results are announced, candidates can check them at ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the official UGC NET website. To view their UGC NET 2024 results, applicants will require both their application number and birthdate. When candidates enter the right security code, the process will be finished.

The June 18 exam was cancelled this year, hence the June UGC NET session was rescheduled to take place from August 21 to September 4. This was a response to the investigation that had earlier shown that the document had been posted on the darknet two days before to the test, on June 16. Nevertheless, it was subsequently determined that the exam may not have been compromised.

Students complained that the answer keys were rife with mistakes when the provisional ones were eventually made public. In certain subjects, there were up to thirty wrong answers out of 150 total questions. Every year, in June and December, UGC NET is held to determine if Indian applicants are eligible for Junior Research Fellowships, Assistant Professorships, and admission to PhD programs in universities throughout the nation.

There are two papers available for UGC-NET: a general paper and a subject-specific paper that focuses on the candidate's area of expertise. Offerings for the second paper include 83 subjects. The 83 subjects include labour welfare, library and information science, mass communication, journalism, Hindi, English, Kannada, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Arabic, linguistics, Nepali, Marathi, Telugu, Urdu, Chinese, Dogri, Manipuri, Assamese, Gujarati, Persian, French, Spanish, Russian, and Rajasthani.

The two papers should be completed in one sitting, without a pause, and have a combined duration of three hours. The multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in both papers are of the objective type. There are 150 questions in total; 50 questions are asked in Paper 1 and 100 questions in Paper 2. The exam has no negative scoring.
