TS SET result to be out soon

The Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS SET) will issue the result soon. The TS-SET is organized by the Osmania University. Candidates who appeared in this examination can download result from the official website at telanganaset.org, once released.

How to check the result

1. Visit the official website at telanganaset.org

2. Locate and select the Result option on the webpage

3. Enter your login credentials

4. Your result will be on the screen

5. Download and take a print out for future reference

The aim of this examination is to assess whether or not applicants are qualified for Assistant Professor and Lecturer positions at Telangana's colleges and universities. 

Osmania University had re-scheduled the Telangana State Eligibility Test (TS-SET) to avoid clashes with the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET). As per the notification, the examination was scheduled in CBT mode on September 10,11,12,13.

There are over 29 subjects within which the exams were held in two shifts, the morning shift and afternoon shift on the above-mentioned dates. 

According to the official notification “The Eligibility for Assistant Professor will depend on the performance of the candidate in both the papers of SET in aggregate. The candidates who qualify the Test for eligibility for Assistant Professor will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of Assistant Professor of the concerned Universities/Colleges/State Government, as the case may be.”

Osmania University is a public state university located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was established in 1917. It conducts the TS-SET annually. 

Under the New Education Policy, of 1986 the State Governments and Union Territories were given an option of conducting their own test for eligibility for Lectureship at the state level.
