TNPSC Group 4 Result Declared

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024. Candidates who registered for the Combined Civil Services Prelims Examination can download their results through the official website of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in

Steps to download the TNPSC Group 4 Result 

Step 1: Go to the official website of TNPSC at tnpsc.gov.in  
Step 2: Locate the highlighted link TNPSC Group 4 result on the homepage 
Step 3: Enter your login credentials 
Step 4: Your result will be displayed on your screen 
Step 5: Save the result for future reference 

The examination was conducted on June 9 across the state, in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.

TNPSC has increased the number of vacancies, previously the number of vacancies were 6,244 where the commission first added 480 them 2,208 which was 8.832 total vacancies. With the announcement of result, more 559 vacancies were added, now this recruitment drive aims to fill 9,491 vacancies.

Candidates who qualify the exam will proceed to further stages, like certificate verification and counselling session. The counselling involves various steps, including online registration, application fee, choice filling, locking choices, seat allotment results and physical reporting at the college.

The question paper was structures in two distinct sections, the first section was the Tamil Eligibility cum Scoring Test, which included 100 questions worth 150 marks. In the second part the paper was divided in two sections, first General Studies segment which include 75 questions and the Aptitude and Mental Ability Test include 25 questions total weightage of this part is 150 marks.
