The examination is scheduled on September 14, 2024 in a single shift, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. TNPSC will conduct a unified preliminary examination to shortlist candidates for the main examination.
It is important for all the candidates to carry their TNPSC admit cards to the exam centre, without the admit cards candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam room. Candidates are advised to verify all their personal details and information in the admit card to ensure there is no error.
The preliminary examination will comprise 200 questions with a total possible score of 300. The passing marks for this examination are 90 and the duration for this exam will be 3 hours. The exam will cover topics such as General Studies, Mental Ability and Language (General Tamil or General English).
