On the official website, tneaonline.org, online counselling for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2024 for applicants falling under the 7.5 percent special reservation category officially opened today.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Guindy, is offering virtual counselling for admissions to B.E. and B.Tech courses. State Higher Education Minister K Ponmudy, who launched the virtual counselling, announced that 664 applications had been received to fill 111 seats under the special category for physically challenged, ex-servicemen, and sports.
Counselling will be provided to state government school pupils who are applying for admission under the 7.5 percent quota during the first few days of the session, which runs until September 11.
Candidates will participate in the corresponding phases of online counselling based on their rank. The rounds will involve choice filling, allotment, confirmation of allotment, and reporting to the universities for fee payment.
