TISS will be using CAT 2024 scores for 3 PG programmes

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has stated that they will be using Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 scores for the admission process of three more PG Programmes for the 2025-26 academic session.

The master’s degree in Hospital Administration, Master of Arts in Human resource Management and labour relations, and Master of Arts in organisation development, change and leadership, these are the 3 PG programmes which will be used for admission according to the CAT 2024 scores.
Registration for CAT 2024 has started and interested students can register themselves on the official website before September 13 at iimcat.ac.in.

The registration fee payment of Rs 2,500 for CAT 2024 will be mandatory for students. Candidates belonging to PwD and SC/ST categories are required to make fee payment of Rs 1,250. The Indian Institute of management (IIMs) considers the Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to post graduate management programmes and doctorate programmes. There are some non-IIM member colleges which are allowed to use CAT 2024 scores.

Priorly, it said that it would use the scores of Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG) for all the programmes except for Master of Arts in Organisation Development, change and leadership and Master of Arts in Human Resource Management and labour relations. For only these programmes, TISS said it would consider the CAT scores.

Dr. Ranjit Singh, The Chairperson of the Admissions Committee at TISS, stated that the merging of CAT scores will reflect the institution’s commitment to adopting varied approaches in evaluating CAT candidates. Earlier, the admission process to all the UG and PG programmes at TISS was initiated based on the TISS National Entrance Test (TISS NET) scores.
