The SAT 2024 exam is set for August 24; registration is still open

The Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) for the August session will be held on August 24, 2024, according to a College Board announcement.

Students who want to enroll in undergraduate programs in the US and Canada can now register for this important exam and guarantee their place.

Details of SAT Registration

Students must register by August 9 if they want to take the SAT on August 24. It is still possible to make adjustments, routinely cancel, or choose to register after August 13.

The SAT registration price is USD 68 (about Rs 5,692), and students must also pay an extra USD 43 regional fee.

There is an additional USD 34 cost for late registration. In addition, students who wish to modify their test location or cancel their registration must pay USD 29.

Next exam dates 

The dates for the forthcoming SAT tests have already been announced by the College Board. The following SAT sessions are set for October 5, November 2, December 7, March 8, 2025, May 3, and June 7 after the August session. Registration is open for all of these dates, giving students time to organize and be ready in accordance with their eligibility and credentials.

Exam form and polling 

There will be parts on math, reading, writing, and language on the SAT in 2024. The SAT score range is 400 to 1600, and many schools and universities consider scores over average to be acceptable for entrance.
