The cost to amend a degree certificate and marksheet is doubled at Delhi University

According to an official order, Delhi University (DU) has announced an increase in fees for degree certificate and marksheet adjustments. Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh's committee made suggestions, which led to the doubling of the prices.

The new structure increases the charge from Rs 500 to Rs 1,000 for marksheet repairs made within six years of graduation and from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 for modifications made beyond six years of graduation. Similarly, the charge for making changes to a degree certificate during the first six years is now Rs 1,000, and the fee for making changes after that time is Rs 2,000.

According to a top DU official, the fee modification was required because it had not been revised in a very long time. The fees for obtaining additional marksheets and degree certificates, however, are still the same at Rs 500 and Rs 1,000, respectively.
