Tamil Nadu reveals its New Education Policy, submits report to MK Stalin

The Justice D Murugesan Committee, assigned to create the Tamil Nadu Education Policy, submitted its detailed report to Chief Minister M K Stalin at the Secretariat on Monday. This committee was formed to design an educational framework that respects Tamil Nadu's rich heritage, tackles current issues, and meets future objectives, according to an official statement.

Sources indicated that the panel recommends a dual-language approach, focusing on Tamil and English, for the state's education system. Furthermore, the committee proposes removing public examinations for classes 3, 5, and 8 in all state-run schools.
