SSC JE Paper 2 exam date released

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the SSC Junior Engineer (JE) Paper 2 exam date on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in. The exam shall be held all over India for the post of Junior Engineer in multiple government organisations, departments and ministries. The SSC JE paper 2 shall be held on November 6, 2024.

This two-tier examination will be held in computer-based format, online mode. The question will comprise questions related to General Engineering (Civil and Structural, Electrical, mechanical). The duration for this examination is 2 hours and for every wrong answer one mark shall be deducted and similarly for every right answer one mark shall be awarded.

SSC will soon release the admit card and full exam schedule about SSC JE paper 2 shortly on its official website at ssc.gov.in. Candidates who qualifies the paper 1 and met the eligibility criteria can appear for the SSC JE paper 2 examination.

The Paper I examination was conducted from June 5 to June 7, 2024 across the country at various exam centres. Candidates can check the individual marks by logging-in through their Registered ID and Password on the website of the Commission from August 22 to September 5, 2024.

Around 11,765 candidates from Civil Engineering and 4,458 candidates from Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualify for Paper II exam. The recruitment drive is being organised for 968 Junior Engineer vacancies.
