The Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan delivered plenary speech at the Australian International Education Conference in Melbourne, Australia on October 23,2024. The minister also scheduled a Bilateral meeting with his counterpart Minster for Education, Mr. Jason Clare MP.
During the event, Members of Indian delegation, heads of universities of both nations and other dignitaries were also present.
Pradhan laid emphasis on how National Education Policy (NEP) has transformed India’s learning landscape into endless possibilities. It has also boosted India-Australia ties and the efforts made by in education sector. Building of Australian University campuses in India is just the starting with the potential yet to be discovered.
Moreover, both the countries can advance knowledge, leverage tech for global concerns and create pool of opportunities for students.
Pradhan met Australia’s Minister for Education Jason Clare and looked for the possibility of establishing branch campuses of Australian universities in India, according to a communication from the Ministry of Education.
In addition the minister talked about Vishwa-Bandhu , India looks forward to becoming a trusted partner in human-centric development. The thought is to build brighter future.
On the other side, Mr Jason Clare MP, in his speech focused on the significance of good education system. It changes more than lives, can change nations. He also claimed, that within next decade, one in four people around the world who get a university degree will get it in India.
In an important move to boost bilateral cooperation in education field, the minister is visiting Australia from October 22 ,2024 to October 26,2024. The visit looks forward to foster collection, participation and synergy is essential areas of mutual interest of education.
The minister has been working towards enhancing bilateral relations with different countries, and boosting mutual interest in education development. Previous week, the minister also paid a visit to Singapore. He met the dignitaries related to education. Aiming to expand bilateral cooperation in skill-based education research.
