Shiv Nadar University and Arizona State University collaborates

Shiv Nadar University, Delhi -NCR and Arizona State University, US have collaborated to offer innovative degree programmes and other several partnership initiatives in coming times.
Two undergrad dual degree programmes in Computer Science and Business Data Analytics have begun according to the partnership.
In this partnership, the Shiv Nadar University has also become a part of the ASU-Cintana Alliance. Initially the alliance was built through Arizona State University and Cintana Education.

Through this alliance, students at Shiv Nadar University will benefit from
-Students will gain access to unique international programme
-Students will get opportunity to participate Student Completion
-Students will get to explore more via the exchange programme
-Students will get summer immersion experiences
-they will get a chance receive knowledge in global classroom environment at ASU and other universities

The vice-chancellor of Shiv Nadar University, Delhi -NCR , Prof Ananya Mukherjee stated “This is the beginning of a new strategic collaboration with one of the top 1% universities in the world. We aim to produce graduates with a unique perspective to imagine a new world. We believe such international collaborations are essential in preparing students to become global leaders and innovators. ASU’s commitment to interdisciplinary and experiential education and its focus on sustainability are extremely valuable to this partnership,”

Adding onto which, the Arizona President Michael Crow said “Our work with Cintana is focused on taking educational attainment and helping it to become more ubiquitously available. Wisdom is considered rare, something to be granted to other people, and scarcity is considered to be good. That will not get us where we need to be as a species and as a global society. Our goal is to do something about that, at scale, and that’s exactly what we are doing,”

Shiv Nadar University is a private deemed University, it was established in year 2011 as a series of effort by the Shiv Nadar Foundation.
