Release of UPSC CSE Mains 2024 DAF-1

The Direct Application Form-1 (DAF 1) for the 2024 Civil Services Main examination has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Through the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in, successful candidates from the preliminary exams can access and submit their DAF for the main examination.

On the official website, applications for the Civil Services Main Examination 2024 are presently being accepted. By July 12, 2024, at 6 pm, qualified candidates must turn in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the test.

"The candidates who have been declared successful have to first get themselves registered on the relevant page of the above website before filling up the ONLINE DAF-I. The qualified candidates are further advised to refer to the EXAMINATION NOTICE No.05/2024-CSP dated February 14, 2024 and Rules of the Civil Services Examination, 2024 published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) of Department of Personnel and Training Notification dated February 14, 2024," reads the official notice.

Application procedure for UPSC CSE Mains 2024 DAF-1

Step 1: Visit upsc.gov.in, the official UPSC website.

Step 2: Open the homepage and navigate to the 'What's new' section.

Step 3: Select 'UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination DAF' from the link.

Step 4: Click the linked link to access the DAF I online portal.

Step 5: Enter your date of birth and UPSC roll number to log in.

Step 6: Complete the UPSC Mains DAF-1 form completely, making sure to include the necessary educational and other information in each module.

"It may be noted that as per Rules of Civil Services Examination-2024, any delay in submission of the DAF-I or documents in support beyond the prescribed date will not be allowed and will lead to cancellation of the candidature for the CSE-2024," it adds.

On July 1, 2024, UPSC released the Civil Services or CSE Prelim results.
