Registration for CAT 2024 will open on August 1st

On August 1, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will launch the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 online registration period. iimcat.ac.in is the official CAT 2024 registration platform, where candidates can register. September 13 is the deadline for applications.

The CAT 2024 is scheduled to be a computer-based exam that takes place over three sessions on November 24. Test sites will be located in over 170 cities for the exam.

IIM Calcutta will distribute admission cards from November 5 to November 24. It is anticipated that the CAT 2024 results will be made public around the second week of January 2025.

CAT 2024: Criteria for eligibility

A bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent of the required points or a comparable CGPA is required of candidates. The minimal criteria is 45 percent for candidates who fall under the categories of Persons with Disability (PwD), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Scheduled Caste (SC).
