Registration dates for GATE 2025 announced

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) registration period will open on August 24 and run until September 26. On the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, candidates can fill out the application form once the login window starts in August.

The GATE exam is a nationwide assessment that aims to assess candidates' thorough comprehension of a range of undergraduate disciplines in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, the arts, and humanities. It is scheduled to take place from February 1 to February 16.

Information needed to complete the GATE 2025 online application form:

- Details about the individual, such as name, birthdate, mobile number, parents' name, parents' mobile number, etc.

- Communication address (with PIN code).

- Details of the eligibility degree.

- The GATE papers that the candidate wants to appear in, together with their codes.

- Any three cities (from the same zone) that you choose for the GATE examination centre.

- Information on their UPI, debit card, credit card, and Net-banking accounts used to pay the cost.

Application for GATE 2024: Documents needed

- High-quality, passport-size colour photo of the candidate. The photograph should have a white background with no people or objects in it. The image must display the frontal portion of the face, which includes the lips, nose, forehead, and eyes. It should also be in JPG or JPEG format. (size limited to one megabyte).

- High-quality photo of the candidate's signature, signed solely in dark blue or black ink. The photo should not be larger than one megabyte.

- A PDF copy of the category certificate (SC, ST), if appropriate.

- A scanned copy of the PwD certificate in PDF format (if relevant).

- A scanned PDF copy of your dyslexia certificate, if applicable.

- Scanned image of a legitimate photo Identity document: passport, PAN card, voter ID, driving license, or aadhar-UID (preferable).

- The candidate's name, birthdate, and unique photo ID number must all be on the ID. You have to bring this photo ID with you to the exam room so it may be verified.

It is imperative for candidates to ensure that the documents they provide are readable and clear. Uploading illegible papers could cause the application to be processed slowly or could result in the candidate's candidacy being rejected.
