She emphasized that, as the interim budget made clear, we must prioritize the needs of the impoverished, women, youth, and farmers.
Over Rs 3 lakh crore is allocated in the budget for initiatives that assist women and girls.

"We will increase the number of women in the workforce by constructing creches and working women's hostels in collaboration with various sectors. Furthermore, as reported by PTI,
"This partnership will facilitate market access for women-led SHG enterprises and organize skill-building programs specifically tailored to women," Sitharaman said.
To encourage more women to enter the workforce, the government will establish working women's hostels and crches.
She also stated that funding for loans up to 10 lakhs for higher education at local institutions would be made available, as well as the introduction of a new National Cooperation Policy for overall growth.
