The revised date for NEET PG 2024 is expected to be announced today, according to Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who indicated that the updated exam schedule would be disclosed by Monday or Tuesday.

Candidates are advised to monitor the official NEET PG website (natboard.edu.in) for the latest updates.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) previously postponed the NEET PG exam due to concerns about the integrity of competitive examinations in the country.

Initially, the NEET PG entrance examination was scheduled for June 23, 2024.

In response to the postponement, representatives from the Indian Medical Association (IMA) met with the President of the National Board of Examination to discuss the challenges faced by NEET PG aspirants. Dr. Anilkumar J Nayak, Honorary Secretary General of the IMA, urged an early announcement of the new exam dates. Dr. Abhijat Sheth, Chief of the National Board of Examination (NBE), assured the IMA that the new dates would be announced soon.

NEET PG is conducted for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma courses, as mandated by the National Medical Commission Act, 2019. It is the sole entrance examination recognized for MD/MS/PG Diploma admissions across universities and institutions in India, including for foreign nationals seeking medical education opportunities in the country, as stated in the official information bulletin.
