The MCC posts the counseling schedule for NEET UG and PG on its website based on the exam process's completion and the National Medical Commission's (NMC) finalization of the seat matrix.
The UG seat counseling for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023 began on January 19, 2022, and October 10, 2022, respectively.
In the final week of June, NMC released its timeline for UG and PG seat matrix finalization for the year 2024.
This schedule indicates that UG seat matrix finalization will occur by the third week of July, and PG seat matrix finalization will occur by mid-August. The official notice said, "MCC will notify the counseling schedule accordingly."
On July 6, the NEET UG all-India quota (AIQ) seat counseling was supposed to begin. The news was released following the Supreme Court's decision to not postpone the NEET UG counseling.
In the meantime, on July 8, a Supreme Court panel headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra would hear a variety of NEET UG 2024 pleas.
In addition to calling for a probe into the National Testing Agency's (NTA) activities, petitioners have also claimed that there has been a paper leak. Some have even called for the cancelation of the entire exam and a new medical entrance exam.
