In the second week of June, the much-awaited NEET UG Result 2024 will be revealed. Here's how to check the NEET scorecards on the official website step-by-step.
On June 14, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to release the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. The NTA will also make the cut-off marks available in addition to the results. As a point of reference, the NEET UG cut-off percentage for those seeking MBBS and BDS last year was 40% for candidates belonging to the OBC, SC, and ST categories, and 50% for candidates in the general category. On May 5, more than 24 lakh applicants sat the test this year. On May 29, the answer key became available, and candidates had until May 31 to object to the answer key that was still tentative.
The qualifying cut-off and the admission cut-off are the two different categories of NEET UG cut-offs. A candidate must be on the cut-off list in order to be admitted to an Indian medical college's MBBS program. Admission to international medical schools is determined on the qualifying NEET UG scores.
Step 1: Visit either the NEET or the National Testing Agency (NTA) official websites. exams.nta.ac.in/ NEET-UG.
Step 2: Look for the link labelled "NEET UG 2024 Result" or something comparable on the homepage. Usually, this link is very visible when results are being displayed.
Step 3: To view your scorecard, you must enter your login information. Usually, this consists of your date of birth, NEET roll number, and security pin.
Step 4: Once the information is entered, select "Submit" or "View Result" from the menu. The screen will show your NEET UG 2024 scorecard.
Step 5: Take a printout of the scorecard after downloading it for your records. This is crucial for the admissions and counselling procedures.
The NTA will determine the NEET UG 2024 cut-off percentages based on the highest marks obtained in the All India Common Merit List. This year, there is expected to be a slight decrease in the cut-off in all categories. The approximate cut-offs for the general category, SC, ST, and OBC are expected to be around 720-130, 129-108, 128-106, and 130-108. The cut-offs for the general category were 715-117 in 2022, whereas the cut-off for SC, ST, and OBC candidates increased from 116-93 in 2022 to 136-107 in 2023.
