NEET PG 2024 EXAM HELD SUCCESSFULLY

NEET PG 2024 was successfully held on Sunday, August 11,2024 by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) across 416 centres in 170 cities. The exam saw maximum participation of approx. 2.28 lakh candidates.

The exam was conducted in two shifts to ensure the section of high quality and reliable centres, according to an official release. For smooth and safe conduct of NEET PG, NBEMS had set up a central command centre at its Dwarka office.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, issued admit cards to 228,540 candidates. The candidates were assigned examination centres within their respective states. The official statement from Union Health Ministry, along with NBEMS and their teams, closely supervised the smooth conduct of the examination.

For smooth and successful conduct of NEET PG, more than 1950 independent appraisers and 300 flying squad members were assigned to examination centres to oversee the NEET PG examination. NBEMS kept a close watch on the social media to curb the dissemination of false information and ensured that accurate updates were provided to stakeholders.

In addition to the exam administration, the governing body released a notice explaining the normalisation procedure for the preparation of the results. The result for each shift will be prepared in the form of raw scores and percentages.
