The University of Mumbai has postponed the Center for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) exams that were initially planned for July 9 due to the intense rains in Maharashtra. To give students adequate notice and allow them to make appropriate plans, the revised dates for the postponed exams have been given.

Exams for FYBA and FY BCom (Semester 1) were scheduled for July 9, but they will now be held on July 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Similarly, on July 18 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be an exam for the FY BSc Information Technology (Semester 2).

The CDOE Mumbai University states that the location or exam centers for these semester exams would not change despite the changes in the exam dates. This guarantees that, other from acclimating to the new dates, students won't have any further logistical difficulties.

Exams slated for July 8th were also delayed by CDOE earlier on Monday. The first portion of these tests will now take place on July 13 from 11 am to 2 pm.

The decision to postpone the exams was made in reaction to Maharashtra's severe rains, which have disrupted the area and presented serious difficulties for both staff and students.
