The Employee Selection Board (ESB) Madhya Pradesh has started inviting applications for Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MP TET) from October 1, 2024. Interested candidates can submit their applications till October 15, 2024 though the official website at esb.mp.gov.in
The MP TET 2024 exam is expected to be held on November 10, 2024, in two sessions. The morning session will run from 9 am to 11:30 am, with candidates requires to report between 7 am to 8 am. Similarly, the afternoon session took place from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, with candidates reporting from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Each session will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
MP TET examination qualification is valid for lifetime, exempting previously qualified candidates, including those from the 2020 edition from retaking the exam. Clearing the TET exam is mandatory as an eligibility criteria but this will not guarantee employment. Candidate must also pass separate recruitment examinations for teacher posts to be considered for hiring.
The application fees vary according to categories, for general category candidates it is 600 whereas for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PwD category candidate of Madhya Pradesh is 250, with additional charges.
Aadhar registration is mandatory for applying and taking the examination. Candidates are advised are required to carry a valid photo ID, including Aadhar card, Driving License, Pan card, Voter ID or passport.
