The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has announced the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) 2024 exam 3 timetable today. Candidates can now register on the official website — kseab.karnataka.gov.in.
Scheduled to take place from August 2 to August 9, the Karnataka SSLC exam 3 will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. Registration has commenced, and candidates must register and upload their details via school login by July 17.
The results for the Karnataka SSLC exam 2 were declared on July 10, following exams held from June 14 to June 21. The SSLC exam 1 results, announced on May 9, followed exams conducted from March 25 to April 6. This year, the SSLC pass percentage has decreased by 30 percent, with 78 schools across Karnataka, including three in Bengaluru, recording zero percent pass rates. Girls outperformed boys with an 81 percent pass rate compared to 65 percent for boys.
The board is providing students the opportunity to improve their scores by retaining their best marks from the SSLC first, second, and third examinations, enhancing their prospects for further study or employment.
Exam registration fees are as follows: Rs 407 per subject, Rs 507 for two subjects, and Rs 682 for three or more subjects.
The Karnataka SSLC exam 3 timings are as follows: first language and core subjects from 10:15 am to 1:30 pm, and second and third language papers from 10:15 am to 1:15 pm. Differently-abled students will receive extra time: 60 minutes for 3-hour exams, 50 minutes for 2-hour 30-minute exams, 40 minutes for 2-hour exams, and 30 minutes for 1-hour 30-minute exams.
