JoSAA Counselling 2024: How to view the outcomes of today's second simulated seat assignment

On, June 17, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will make public the results of the second simulated allocation for the first round of counselling.

On the official website, josaa.nic.in, candidates who applied for undergraduate seats at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other institutions under the NIT+ scheme can view their results.

Step 1:  Go to josaa.nic.in, the official JoSAA website.

Step 2:  For the second mock seat assignment, click the link on the homepage.

Step 3:  Put in your login information and press the submit button.

Step 4:  The results of your sample seat assignment will appear on the screen.

Step 5:  Print a copy after downloading it for your records.

The candidates' choices up until June 16 form the basis of the second simulated allocation result. Choice locking will start after this result is announced, giving candidates a chance to confirm their preferences.

 Seat Assignment for JoSAA 2024: Crucial Dates

June 15, 2024: Mock Seat Allocation-1 Display.

June 17, 2024: Mock Seat Allocation-2 Display.

June 18, 2024: The date by which registration, seat acceptance fee prepayment, and choice finalisation and locking are due.

June 19, 2024: Data reconciliation, confirmation, and verification of allotted seats are scheduled.

June 20, 2024: Initial seating chart distribution.

In accordance with the counselling schedule, the first mock allocation list was distributed on June 15. On June 20, the official first-round seat allocation results will be released.

Following the release of the results, candidates have until June 20 to 24 to report online, submit the proper paperwork, and make payments.
