JoSAA Counseling 2024: Visit josaa.nic.in for seat list for Round 4

The seat allocation outcome for round four will be made public by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) today, July 10. Students can access and download their seat allocation results by visiting josaa.nic.in, the JoSAA website's official website.

The candidates assigned seats in the fourth round of the JoSAA seat allotment will need to register online by July 15 at 5 p.m. to be admitted. The applicants must upload the necessary documents and pay the counseling charge.

Candidates must select one of the following options when accepting their seat online: slide, float, or freeze. This will determine their academic program of choice for any further rounds of joint seat allocation.

The candidate will not be offered any of the aforementioned options besides freezing if their first choice for a seat has been assigned.

In this case, the candidate has the option to accept the offered seat and freeze it, or to reject it. In this scenario, failing to select the freeze option will be interpreted as accepting the offered seat, and the applicant won't be given any consideration for seat assignments in any subsequent rounds.

Round 5 of the seat allocation process will take place on July 17.

JoSAA seat allotment rules state that if a candidate's credentials change during the seat allotment period of a given round of seat allocation because they are unable to produce a valid certificate of category, state code of eligibility, or gender declaration and the allotted seat is canceled, the candidate will be considered for seat allocation in subsequent rounds (if any) based on the updated credentials.

In these situations, the candidate needs to reapply online to take any newly assigned seats.
