JEE Advance 2024, the second paper is more difficult comparatively with the first in mathematics which is between moderate difficult whereas chemistry remains moderate to difficult question paper.
The Indian Institute of Technology ( IIT) Madras administered the joint entrance exam (JEE) advanced 2024 conducted on May 26, 2024, conducting paper 1 and paper 2 in two shifts. The first shift was held from 9 am – 12 pm and the second shift around 2:30 which concluded at 5:30 . The exams computer based mode.
The exams comprise subjects like physics chemistry mathematics and the answer key for JEEAdvanced 2024 will be released on June 2, 2024. students can download the answer key from the official website jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates can raise issues regarding June 3, 2024. The result of the JEE Advanced result was declared on June 9, 2024, with the toppers list.
Students found the overall question 1 paper level moderate to difficult but not easy. The students reported that the mathematics paper was moderate to difficult whereas the chemistry paper was moderate but as compared to other subjects physics paper was very difficult.
Chemistry
It was not balanced as more weightage was given to organic chemistry whereas inorganic chemistry had fewer questions which are directed to NCERT. Physical chemistry question was covered by the chapters on chemical, kinetic chemical Equilibrium atomic structure, and Thermodynamics. In organic chemistry questions were mostly asked by the Amines, Ploymersm, Biomolecular, oxygen-containing compounds some names of reactions were also asked and this question was moderate level
Physics
It has more weightage and gives questions from the chapters like kinetic, Rotational motion Kinetic theories of gases, Moderate physics capacitors, current electricity optics, and electrostatics electromagnetic induction. Physics was reported as tough as compared to other sections of the paper
Mathematics
The paper was moderate according to the students. There are maximum questions from the limited definite integrals. Some are good questions asked from probability, complex number 3-d geometry but some questions were length as well
