Jamia and Tech Mahindra collaborate

The Jamia Millia Islamia University has collaborated with Tech Mahindra Foundation to launch SMART Academy. The academy shall offer various courses of short duration in entrepreneurship and digital technologies As per the official statement released on September 9,2024, Monday. JMI's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tech Mahindra Foundation to offer these courses.

The duration of the course would be around three to four months. It will commence in October in both, the morning and evening session, the statement also mentioned. The registration for the courses begins from September 10,2024. The last date to register is September 21,2024.

The partnership focuses to provide students and professionals with in-demand digital skills, promote innovation and entrepreneurship and to contribute to India's digital transformation.

Following are the courses offered
-Graphic Design
-Full stack Development
-UI/UX Development
-Digital Marketing

The duration for the courses will be four months. Other courses such as a Certificate in Digital Entrepreneurship have 3-month duration.

Once the registration is completed, the eligible candidates will be called for interviews, which will be held on September 23 to September 25, 2024.The result will be released on September 27,2024.
