ISB Hyderabad Announces PGP YL Programme for Graduates

The Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL) program has been announced by the Indian School of Hyderabad (ISB) for prospective MBA students. The program is scheduled to start in the middle of 2025.

According to a press release, the 20-month full-time MBA equivalent residential management program is made to provide participants with a thorough learning experience through an innovative curriculum that will address the fast changing business landscape and technological challenges. Furthermore, according to the announcement, the PGP YL curriculum will combine cutting-edge technology, data, analytics courses, and global perspectives with fundamental business concepts to help students become creative problem solvers.

In order to receive practical exposure to business contexts in a variety of situations, learners will be required to perform a two-month summer internship as part of the curriculum. Prominent instructors from ISB and other leading international B-schools will impart their knowledge to students in the classroom and instruct them in PGP YL.

Speaking on the program, ISB Dean Professor Madan Pillutla stated that the PGP YL course was created in response to the need for young professionals who can fill positions requiring both deep technical and data skills and commercial acumen. "We have designed the PGP YL program to transform recent graduates and entry-level professionals into exceptional problem solvers and innovators at the workplace," he stated.

Who is eligible to apply?
According to the ISB Hyderabad website, prospective students who would like to apply for the PGP YL course must fulfill the following requirements:

Education Qualification: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field, or the equivalent.
Test score: As of the application deadline for the round in which candidates are applying, valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT results (only tests administered at test centers).
Work Experience: As of June 15 of the year that the candidate plans to enroll in the program, they cannot have more than 0–24 months of job experience.
Additional requirement: If the candidate’s medium of instruction is not English, then a valid TOEFL/ IELTS score is required.
