On Sunday, July 28, 2024, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the CUET UG 2024 results, showing that more than 22,000 candidates received full marks in 45 disciplines.
With 8,024 students receiving flawless scores, business studies came in first, followed by political science (5,141), history (2,520), English (1,683), and psychology (1,602).
Seven,09,066 students took the General Test, a record number of applicants, however only one candidate received all possible points.
There were 63 subjects available in total: one general test, 29 domain-specific subjects, 33 languages, and so on. Fashion Studies and Tourism were added for the first time.
On May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, and 24, 2024, the CUET UG 2024 was administered in 379 cities using both pen and paper mode (for 15 topics) and computer-based mode (for 48 subjects). 11,13,610 of the over 13.4 lakh registered candidates showed up for the test.
Based on the NTA's scorecards, the 283 universities taking part in CUET-UG 2024 will create their merit lists. These colleges will hold admission counseling sessions based on these merit lists.
There was a Central Control Room, 397 City Coordinators, 3,240 Observers, 28 Deputy Observers, and 35 Virtual Observers as part of an extensive monitoring system.
This guaranteed the exam's seamless administration. 283 central, state, regional, and private colleges use the exam as their undergraduate admission exam.
In contrast to the previous year, the NTA withheld the number of hundredth percentiles; however, there were 22,836 perfect scores in 2022 as opposed to 21,159 in 2022.
