IIT Ropar and Excelsoft launch AI-Driven Lab to honor the educationist MH Dhananjaya

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar has collaborated with Excelsoft Technologies. It is to establish the ‘Professor Dhananjaya Lab for Education Design and Creative Learning. “It is named in honour of the distinguished educationist MH Dhananjaya He was a HRD expert in design and development of training methods.

The purpose of lab is to integrate academic research with industry expertise so it could foster solutions in EdTech.

The Lab is led by Sudharshan Iyengar, the head of IIT Ropar’s Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department. The lab with aim on developing cutting-edge AI models to develop the current learning and assessment tools. The effort also seeks to discover new educational methodologies and technologies, which can create scalable and robust tools to enhance learning experience.

The institute stated,We are excited to partner with Excelsoft that opens doors for our students to explore, experiment, and develop industry first edtech products. We are confident that the Dhananjaya Lab for Education Design will further bolster IIT Ropar’s research capabilities and enable us to explore the transformative impact of AI in education & learning”.
