IIT Roorkee will conduct GATE 2025

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 will be administered by the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) to candidates seeking admission to postgraduate engineering programs. The new official website, gate.iitr.ac.in, features the GATE 2025 syllabus and exam pattern provided by the institute. 30 test papers, including whole and sectional papers, will be available for the GATE 2025, according to the source.

Applicants have the option to take one or more test papers. The exam, which will take three hours to complete, will be given in English through computer-based testing (CBT).

The exam will be divided into two sections: general aptitude (GA) and the candidate's chosen subjects. Multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple-select, and numerical response type questions will all be included in the exam.

Qualification Standards

Candidates must be in their third year or above in any undergraduate program, or they must have finished a government-approved degree program in an eligible subject, such as engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, the arts, or humanities, in order to be eligible for GATE 2025.

Applications containing personal data, address, facts about eligibility, GATE paper(s) and codes, three exam city selections within the same zone, and payment information via Net-banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI will be made available soon.
