IIT Roorkee registration date for GATE 2025 postponed

IIT Roorkee has postponed the registration date for GATE 2025, which was previously scheduled for August 24 now postponed to August 28, 2024. Interested candidates can apply for the Graduation Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) by visiting the official website at gate.iir.ac.in

Step 3: Fill registration details

Step 4: Enter the require information mentioned in the application form

Step 5: Pay the FEE

Step 6: Review and submit the form

Step 7: Save the form for future reference

The deadline for the online registrations without a late fee is September 26, 2024 which is now extended to October 7, 2024 including late fee. Besides the change in registration date, the exam dates remain same. The test is scheduled to held in two sessions on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. Th exam will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT), GATE 2025 will comprise 30 test papers, all in English language and entirely objective. Candidates are allowed to participate in one of the two papers only according to the paper combinations displayed on the GATE official website.

The application fee varies according to the categories, for Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates for regular period Rs 900 and for extended period Rs 1400. For the remaining candidates the application fee is Rs 1800 for regular period and for extended period Rs 2300.
