In order to promote the swift advancement of aviation safety in India, Airbus is sponsoring an IIT Madras course that aims to improve safety education in the area.
A course on "Aviation Safety Management" in the Indian civil aviation sector is being offered by the Pravartak Technologies Foundation of the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M) in collaboration with the French institution L'Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile (ENAC). In order to promote the swift advancement of aviation safety in India, Airbus is sponsoring an IIT Madras course that aims to improve safety education in the area.
Beginning in January 2025, there will be a maximum of 30 seats available for the first cohort. December 15 is the last day to register. During the first year of this two-year program, there is one week of in-person instruction every two months, and during the second year, there is one week every month. To teach the courses over the entire program, faculty will be traveling from France. One component of the new IIT Madras program is a six-month project or dissertation.

According to an official press release from IIT Madras, safety management is still a significant concern that calls for adaptable talents, such as soft skills like communication, leadership, and assertiveness.

Due to the regular increases in travel volume and the resulting threats to industrial safety, a uniform approach to education and skill development is required.
