IIT Delhi's Abu Dhabi campus announces the introduction of BTech (CSE) and Energy Engineering

IIT Delhi, in collaboration with its Abu Dhabi campus, unveils its inaugural Bachelor of Technology (BTech) program for the academic year 2024-25. The partnership introduces two bachelor's programs: BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, and BTech in Energy Engineering.

These programs aim to equip students with the skills to address energy challenges, drive digital innovation, and develop software solutions across various sectors, from analytics to finance and cryptography to information technology. They also prepare undergraduates to meet the increasing demands in critical areas such as energy and digitalization.

The BTech in Energy Engineering offers diverse engineering specializations with a sustainability focus to tackle present energy production and management challenges. Meanwhile, the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills, emphasizing AI and machine learning, to empower students with the abilities needed to navigate today's digital landscape.

Additionally, in 2023, IIT Delhi, the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) partnered to underscore the significance of the newly introduced master's program, demonstrating their commitment to nurturing skilled talent in the UAE.

Moreover, IIT Delhi is launching various outreach programs for students in the UAE, including short courses and executive programs for the industry. Apart from these initiatives, the Abu Dhabi campus provides education in diverse areas such as Energy and Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Engineering, Healthcare, Mathematics and Computing, and other engineering, sciences, and humanities disciplines.
