IIM Indore and MSU collaborates to design short-term and long-term projects

Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore on Tuesday, October 29,2024. It is to together work on faculty and staff development programmes, which is tailored for colleges and universities in Gujarat.

Professor Hitesh Raviya, the officer on special duty (public relations and communication) at MSU stated “This partnership aims to create new opportunities in higher education by developing short- and long-term certificate programmes that enhance skills and meet contemporary industry demands,"

In addition, the MoU will support exchange programmes and collaborative research projects as well. It will provide academic and professional growth to educators and administrators across the region.  He further said, "This collaboration with IIM Indore underscores MSU's dedication to achieving excellence in education and innovation”.

The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) is recognized as one of the premier institutions of higher learning and research in the country. Since its inception in 1949, the University has demonstrated a keen interest and a commitment to the sustenance and promotion of an environment, favourable to the growth and development of an academic excellence – a commitment that forms a part of the rich legacy of the institution.

And on the other hand, IIM Indore is among the top management institutes of the Nation. It offers a two-year full-time residential Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP). The institute is renowned for its strong academic programs, experienced faculty, and industry partnerships. It provides a holistic learning experience, fostering leadership skills, critical thinking, and innovation among its students.

The collaboration of two intuitions is set to be fruitful and impactful. The two will curate certificate programmes for long-term and short-term duration. The aim is to provide students with insights of the industry. It is to make them prepared for future requirements and demands in industry.
