The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for fresh admission and re-registration for all courses under the online and Open Distance Learning (ODL) modes for the July 2024 session to July 31.

Eligible candidates can register for new ODL and online mode courses on IGNOU's official website at ignou.ac.in.

 

IGNOU 2024 Admission: Required Documents

Before proceeding with the fresh admission application, candidates must have the following documents ready:

- Scanned passport-size photograph
- Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)
- Scanned documents of required educational qualifications
- Scanned copy of experience certificate (optional)
- Scanned copy of Category Certificate (if applicable, such as SC, ST, OBC)

Candidates should ensure their photograph and signature are under 100 KB, while other documents should not exceed 200 KB. All scanned files must be from original documents, as stated on the IGNOU official website.

For fee payment, candidates can use credit cards, debit cards, and other online payment methods. It's advised to save screenshots of the application and successful fee payment for future reference. If a candidate requests enrollment cancellation after 60 days of the admission portal's closure, the fee will not be refunded.

IGNOU has also cautioned students about online payment issues, stating, "In case an online payment does not get updated, please do not make a second payment immediately. Wait for a day, check the payment status, and then decide."
