IGNOU and ICMAI come together to offer diploma in Agricultural Cost Management

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) School of Agriculture, in partnership with the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), has launched the Diploma in Agricultural Cost Management (DACM) program. This educational initiative is designed to span from one to three years, focusing on improving skills in farm cost management, value chain, and supply chain management.

Programme Highlights 

The DACM program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes farm accounting and costing, agricultural supply chain management, and effective resource utilization, such as land and water. Its primary goal is to educate and train participants to efficiently manage farm costs, enhance agricultural productivity, and make strategic decisions related to agricultural production, crop cultivation, livestock rearing, financial planning, resource allocation, marketing, and risk mitigation.
