In a considerate step forward for students, the Tamil Nadu School Education Department has made a decision, all government, government-aided and private schools in the state will reopen on Monday, October 7,2024. It is after the completion of their quarterly examinations. The announcement had extended the holiday period, initially it was decided to get over by October 3,2024 however now it has push forward. The decision was made in consideration for providing students with extra time to prepare and recharge. The quarterly examinations, is an important event, for class 6 to class 12 the exams began on September 20,2024.

For the students studying in grade 11 and 12, the exam commenced on September 189,2024 and will end on September 27,2024. While for the students from class 6 to 10, the exams began from September 20,2024 till September 27,2024. The update holidays are from September 28,2024 to October 6, 2024.The purpose of extension in holidays is to provide ample of time to students to rest and focus on their studies. The notice is applicable for all, primary, middle and higher secondary department. The decision is expected to be beneficial for students by allowing them to return to their academic routines with renewed energy and focus.
