Himalayan Startup Trek 2024: IIT-Mandi

The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi(IIT) Catalyst is all set to organize the Himalayan Startup Trek(HST) . It is scheduled between November 15,2024 and November 17,2024.
This HST would be the eighth edition of the flagship event. The Candidates who are interested can register at the website mentioned below.

The last date to submit application is September 30,2024.The Himalayan Start Up event at IIT Mandi is curated to bring startups, investors, mentors and industry leaders together. The goal provides a unique platform for startups to participate in the grand challenge, investor den and startup showcase.

Investor's Den- It is for Startups looking for funding . They will have the opportunity to pitch their ventures to seasoned investors.

Mentor meeting -The startups will get to have one-on-one sessions with experienced mentors, who will offer invaluable guidance and feedback on their business

Grand Challenge- This startup pitch competition will focus on four thematic areas. Namely the Human , environment and sustainability and bio innovation

Along with the three main elements, it will have investor meetings, Masterclasses by the industry experts , product showcases and extensive networking opportunities. The startups will get an opportunity to explore synergies, fostering growth and innovation to strategic partnerships and will also receive mentorship.

While talking about the goal of HST 2024, Dr. Satvasheel Powar, Director Incubation and Faculty-in-Charge, IIT Mandi Catalyst, stated that , “HST 2024 adopts a multi-stakeholder approach, with problem statements sourced from various industry stakeholders and government bodies. Startups offering technology-based solutions will have an opportunity to co-create and pilot their innovations with these stakeholders.”

The event estimates to bring around 5,000 counting 200 startup founders and entrepreneurs from across the nation. More than 50 speakers, senior government officials and investors. The event is a valuable chance for ecosystem stakeholders to interact, drive innovation and partner in person.
