GATE 2025 registeration date extended till October 3

IIT Roorkee extended the registration date GATE 2025 till October 3,2024. Interested candidates shall apply for the Graduation Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) before the deadline via visiting the official website at gate.iir.ac.in

Step 3: Fill registration details

Step 4: Enter the required information mentioned in the application form

Step 5: Pay the FEE

Step 6: Review and submit the form

Step 7: Save the form for future reference

The official notice states, “Due to several requests from applicants, closing date of REGULAR online registration/ application process (Without Late Fee) of GATE 2025 is extended upto 11:59 PM, 3rd October 2024 (Thursday). 

The test is scheduled to held in two sessions on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. Th exam will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT), GATE 2025 will comprise 30 test papers, all in English language and entirely objective. Candidates are allowed to participate in one of the two papers only according to the paper combinations displayed on the GATE official website.

The application fee varies according to the categories, for Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates for regular period Rs 900 and for extended period Rs 1400. For the remaining candidates the application fee is Rs 1800 for regular period and for extended period Rs 2300.
