First-Year Inter Admission date extended by TSBIE

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has extended its closing date for admission to the first-year intermediate academic session of 2024–2025. Originally, the deadline for entry was September 15, but now it has been extended to October 15. Nonetheless, the reason behind the postponement remains undisclosed.

Parents wishing to apply for admission are asked to confirm that the junior colleges they have selected are affiliated before moving forward with the first-year intermediate admissions. The official TSBIE websites, acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in, have a list of connected colleges. According to the TSBIE notice, neither public nor private junior colleges charge late fees for admissions. However, students applying to junior private institutions will have to pay a late fee of Rs 500.

"The deadline for admissions into 1-year Intermediate for the academic year 2024–25 has been extended to October 15, 2024, with a late fee of Rs. 500/-for Private Junior Colleges and without a late fee for Government & Government Sector Junior Colleges." This notice is sent to all principals of government, private aid, private unaided, cooperative, TG residential, TG social welfare residential, TG tribal welfare residential, TG model schools, TG BC welfare, TMRJC/KGBV, and incentive junior colleges as well as Composite Degree Colleges that offer two-year Intermediate Course. The notification, stated.

The TSBIE has provided guidance to junior college administrators from all backgrounds, including government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and residential schools, on how to ensure the smooth operation of the first-year intermediate student admissions process up until the extended deadline.

The TSBIE's extension of the entrance deadline gives parents and students more time to finish first-year intermediate admissions for the 2024–2025 school year. This move offers a more seamless admissions procedure for students throughout Telangana's educational institutions, with no late fees for government institutions and a little price for private colleges.
