Final Results of ICAI CA Inter: AIR 1 is Shivam Mishra

The CA Inter and final exams 2024 results have been released by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). ICAI.nic.in and icaiexam.icai.org are the official websites where candidates may now view and download their results.

Shivam Mishra of New Delhi wins the CA final exam with a score of 83.33 percent (500 marks). With 480 marks, Varsha Arora comes in second, while Ghilman Saalim Ansari and Kiran Manral from Mumbai share AIR 3.

Kushagra Roy, a resident of Bhiwadi, scored an all India rank (AIR) of 89.67percent in the CA Inter exams. Yuj Sachin Kariya and Yogya Lalit Chandak shared second place with 89.67percent. Manjit Singh Bhatia and Hiresh Kashiramka tied for third place with 86.50percent.

Group I consisted of 74887 candidates for the final year exam, of whom 20479 passed, yielding a pass percent of 27.35percent. Group II consisted of 58891 students, of whom 21408 made it through the exam. 36.35percent is the pass percent. Of the 35819 candidates that took the test in both groups, only 7122 passed with an overall score of 19.88percent.

Thirty-one hundred and ninety-seven (or 27.15percent) of the 1,17,764 applicants who took the CA Group 1 Inter Exam qualified. 13,008 applicants (18.28 percent) out of the 71,145 that took the exam in CA Inter group 2 passed. Only 11,041 (18.42percent) of the 59,956 candidates who ran for both groupings were successful.

Ahmedabad native Akshay Ramesh Jain achieved all-India rank 1 in 2023 with a score of 616/800 (77percent) points. In second place is Kalpesh Jain, followed by Prakhar Varshney. 13430 candidates in all passed the CA final test.

The exam is divided into three stages based on the course, and applicants must pass each level in order to become qualified as chartered accountants. The three levels are: four papers for the CA Foundation course test; eight papers for the CA Intermediate examination (based on both the New and Old Syllabus); and eight papers for the CA Final examination (based on both the New and Old Syllabus).
