A bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any area is required of applicants hoping to be admitted into the course in order to meet the eligibility requirements for the Common Admission Test (CAT), which is administered by IIMs. Candidates must have a valid CAT 2023 score or a GMAT score obtained after January 1, 2022, in order to apply to the program.

Minimum CAT/GMAT scores will be used to determine the candidates' initial shortlist. Candidates in the general category must have a CAT score of 90; those in the EWS and NC-OBC categories must score 82; candidates in the SC category must score 65; and candidates in the ST and PwD categories must score 60. Candidates may apply to the MBA program from the General category if they have a GMAT score of 660. Students in the NC-OBC and EWS categories need to have a GMAT score of 640, while candidates in the SC and ST categories need to have 620 and 600.

Only applicants that meet the aforementioned percentage will be given consideration for additional assessment. The class 12 grades, graduation, work experience, and diversity factor will all be taken into account when calculating the composite scores for the next round.

At the beginning of the interview, shortlisted candidates will be required to give a brief presentation on their business plan, no more than five minutes in length.  In an interview, you need to score at least 18 out of 60 to pass.
