DU NCWEB Speical drive Cut-off released .Know details here.
The University of Delhi has released the special cut-off for Non-Collegiate Women’s education (NCWEB) on October 5,2024. The courses include BA, BCom programme for the session 2024-2025. Eligible Candidates who are interested in enrolling in NCWEB can check the official website. https://ncweb.du.ac.
The special-drive cut off which is applicable to BA(Programme) and BCom Courses was released on October 3,2024 on official website as per the notice. The procedure for admission has been commenced today , October 5,2024. It will be concluded on October 6,2024 at respective teaching centres. The cut-off is released based on the categories, including General, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward class (OBS)

There have been 5 cut-off rounds and a special drive now. The special cut-off is available for all eligible candidates across categories who could not secure admission in the earlier rounds. It includes the 1st to 5th and special cut-offs, subject to seat availability. Candidates can now check their eligibility for admission by visiting the DU website.
For regular colleges, the procedure for Mop up round is ongoing. As per the record, there are approx. 71,600 undergraduate seats across the DU colleges.
The selection process of Delhi University for regular courses is divided into three phases. The phase 1 was about applying to the DU college by registering at CSAS Portal, the next phase was about filling the preference list of colleges and lastly the third phase is the allocation-cum-admission process.
However, Under NCWEB the candidates are allotted seats based on the percentage achieved in standard 12th. Only female candidates can take admission under NCWEB, no male candidate is allowed to apply for the same.
Under the amendment Delhi University Act 1943, Women students were enabled to give examinations with special coaching but without attending regular classes. This gave shape to the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).
