Delhi University has revealed its 2024-2025 academic calendar

The University of Delhi has released the schedule of classes for the 2024-25 academic year, which includes both Semester 1 and Semester 2 of postgraduate programs, BTech, and five-year integrated LLB programs (BA LLB (Honors) and BBA LLB (Honors)).

The revised schedule states that classes for the odd semester will start on August 1, 2024.

Studies will resume on November 4, 2024, following a mid-semester break from October 27, 2024 to November 3, 2024.

The complete schedule for the 2024-25 academic year

1st session:

The semester's first day of classes is August 1, 2024. Classes will resume on November 4, 2024, following a midterm break that is planned to run from October 27 to November 3, 2024.
On November 28, 2024, classes will end, and then there will be a preparation leave and practical exams. The first theory exams are scheduled to start on December 10, 2024. The dates of the upcoming winter break are December 29, 2024, to January 1, 2025.

2nd Session:

The University of Delhi's sessions will start on January 2 in the 2025 academic year. Classes will resume on March 17 after a midterm break from March 9 to March 16. On April 30, there will be a practical exam, a preparation leave, and the dispersal of classes to wrap up the semester. The first theory exams are set to begin on May 13. The summer break for pupils will there after run from June 1 to July 20, 2025.

Additionally, the university has declared that current students' summer vacation will now last until July 31, 2024. The goal of this choice was to make it consistent with the academic calendar for the 2024-2025 school year.

The summer break, which was previously planned in the current Academic Calendar for Postgraduate Programs for the academic session 2023-2024, will now take place from July 22, 2024, to July 31, 2024, according to a note released by the university.
